Cloud Sherpas Explores the Cutting ‘EDGE’ of Technology at Inaugural Google Apps Conference

On March 7, at Atlanta’s W Midtown Hotel, Cloud Sherpas launched Sherpa EDGE, a new event concept designed around educating both prospects and existing Google Apps customers in the extensibility of the Google ecosystem.

Sherpa experts on everything from Google Apps migration to custom development on App Engine discussed the impact of social media, mobile device integration, and the cloud phenomenon as a whole, as it affects both the end-user and organizations at large.

Perhaps more than any other segment, attendees enjoyed hearing from a panel of Cloud Sherpas’ customers, including Laurent Bartoluzi from LXR, Kevin Verde from Jason’s deli and Bill Sybolt from 22squared. The group offered a candid, first-person customer perspective and shared stories of how Google Apps has transformed their businesses.

Finally, Google Apps ISV solution partners BetterCloud, SecureAuth, Okta, Esnatech, Ericom and Boost eLearning were in attendance to share use-cases of how their solutions can be integrated with Google Apps.

The event was so well-received by customers, partners and attendees, Cloud Sherpas is already in the early planning stages to take the event on the road to other large cities in North America, and possibly abroad. Check this space soon for more information about dates and locations.
