I’m in the midst of preparing to speak at Dreamforce on September 19 on the topic of Mobility in the Enterprise. In the course of deciding on how to present my thoughts, I think I’ve landed on something that I can deliver in a short time that will provoke some new thinking on the huge opportunity that Mobile presents.
We all like things that are easy to remember and digest, don’t we? So, I’m going to use one of my favourite methods for getting the message to the audience: the venerable “Top 3.”
Also, just ‘cause I do so love a “Top 3,” I’ve decided to have not just one, but two.
Come and see me at Expo Hall — Partner Theater 1 at 1:30 pm on September 19 to see how well I can squeeze both of these into 15 minutes …
3 Questions You Should Be Asking
For many businesses, Mobile is something fairly new. While everyone has a Mobile in their personal life, the way Mobile extends into the business world can be hard to define, or if you are lucky, just very difficult to manage.
There are a multitude of devices, platforms and work processes to consider and prioritize, there are existing investments to leverage, and all the while the competition is jumping way ahead, out-performing and out-innovating you. What are you to do, and how do you start?
At Dreamforce I’ll share with you the top 3 not-so-useful questions that Cloud Sherpas hear from companies all the time — and I’ll reveal the questions that I wish more companies were really asking.
3 tips for compelling design
Making sure that the Mobile experience you offer to your users is great looking and designed well is critical to keeping your users engaged and active with their mobiles. Whether it be a timesheet or financial form, the User Experience really does need to be fantastic.
Creating a user-friendly interface often takes a company into unfamiliar territory until they realize that less time spent with the company while mobile is time, and money, lost.
At Dreamforce I’ll share my second Top 3 for the day — Top 3 design tips for a great mobile User Experience.
See you on the 19th!
